Hi everyone. I am a SAHM of 3 boys (4 if you count my DH), a border collie and a boxer This is my 1st attempt at a blog I recently started knitting again. I had to give it up years ago, while still a beginner, due to carpal tunnel syndrome in my hands. I had surgery on my right hand 2 years ago, but just recently ran across all my knitting stuff.

Why the Renegade Knitter? Because I rarely follow a pattern exactly or complete a gauge swatch. I realize that this may have to change if I start doing more fitted things. There are a lot of great knitting forums out there, but one of my favorites is Busy Knitting at Yahoo Groups.
